In order to get to the Diamond Cave you will have to reach the end of the eastern shore of Riley Beach and from there walk along the marked path until you reach the entrance of the cave. The walk itself is not long at all so it is quite comfortable even for those who will do it with small children.
When you arrive at the cave, you will discover a natural wonder of spectacular beauty in the form of an ancient stalactite cave in which thousands of impressive stalactites have a mesmerizing appearance (especially for children) among which are flying masses of small and lovable bats. In addition to bats, many monkeys also live in the cave and its immediate surroundings, so it is recommended to keep the objects safe from these mischievous creatures and of course avoid trying to pet or feed them.
One of the most beautiful things in the cave, which also gave it its name, is a wall inlaid with magnificent crystal stone which, combined with the natural lighting in the place, sparkles with breathtaking colors that make it look like millions of small diamonds.
Since the visit to the cave is short and will not last more than an hour, it is recommended to take the opportunity to take a walk on the eastern part of the beach (especially for those of you staying in the luxury hotels on the western part) which is considered beautiful. Although bathing in the area is prohibited, near the cave you will find excellent food stalls, restaurants and cafes, shops and souvenir stalls.
