Considered bars in the city

It is impossible not to mention the bars in Bangkok, which, like the clubs, are an integral part of the nightlife scene of this vibrant city.

Rabbit Hole

Rabbit Hole is among the most popular of them and it mainly attracts a young audience, who are looking for the hottest trends. It has good cocktails, with a price range ranging from 300 to 400 baht, and in the background music that does not stop for a moment. The place is located in Thonglor and operates between the hours of 18:00 and 01:00. There is no entrance fee.

Maggie Choo

Another bar, which is also important to mention, is Maggie Choo. It is located in Silom at the Novotel Hotel and is mostly dedicated to jazz music. It includes quite a few design elements in the Shanghai style of the twenties and has large armchairs, where you can sit and enjoy various cocktails and also many performances, including karaoke and Lady Boy performances. Please note - the place has a strict dress code (formal/sophisticated casual) and it is not possible to reserve seats in advance. It is open every day from 17:00 until midnight. Entrance to it is free.

Tips and rules that are important to remember

Just before you go, it is important to know the rules and expectations of you when you come to visit these bars. There is a dress code and it is very important to follow it. This is true for almost every club in Bangkok. It is not acceptable to go to bars in the city with flip flops, tank tops, shorts or casket hats. Dress in a respectable manner and do not underestimate the requirements of the place. Every bar and every club in Bangkok has a zero tolerance policy, and it is better not to act against this policy to avoid unnecessary and unpleasant complications. Be sure to have your passport with you every time you go out to bars or clubs, otherwise they won't let you in.

Another thing, it is common in Bangkok nightclubs to order liquor and get a reserved table near the dance floor. If you plan to return to the same club again that evening and you haven't finished the drinks, they can keep the bottles left behind for you until your next visit. Remember, reservations for the considered places, and also for those that are less, are only accepted with a minimum amount of drinks that you must order on each visit. If you cannot commit to this, your table will be given to another group.
