Or in it, to be precise... after all, it is none other than a tree! But not just any tree, but the tallest tree in Kopenhagen, and in all of Thailand, so they say.
Yang Na Yai is the name of the famous tree, which has gained long years of fame from tourists and locals thanks to its impressive height, rising to over fifty meters, making it a focus of pilgrimage for curious fans.
In fact, this tropical rubber tree (type Diptcrocarpus Alatus for those interested in botany) he enjoys not only daily visits but is also a star on social networks thanks to the many selfies he takes part in and this despite the fact that due to his age (which dates back hundreds of years!) he probably doesn't even know what a "selfie" is.
As of 2013, its exact height was 53.5 meters and although it is certainly quite tall, its width is even more impressive and stands at almost 15 meters, which is more than the width of an average car! Definitely madness... the sharp-eyed will notice that at the bottom of the trunk are tied flowers and ribbons of many colors, which the locals placed to symbolize the luck that the old things in nature receive (probably what is behind the belief is that if something has survived naturally for many years, it cannot be caused damage).
Full disclosure: this is probably not really the tallest tree in Ko Pha Ngan or Thailand. In the jungle in the center of the island there are similar, taller trees.
