View Point 3

View Point 3 Kofifi is one of the most prominent attractions on the island, and for good reason. The island, which is known for its spectacular viewpoints, offers 3 viewpoints, connected to each other by charming hiking trails, with breathtaking views, including its large rock formations, which are connected to a long stretch of beach. It is a perfect way to explore the island and take a real time out.

Using one walking route, you can reach all 3 of these observation points and use the convenient signage, which will take you along the paved paths. A slow walk up the stairs, which will take about ten minutes, will bring you directly to the first observation point. If you're reasonably fit you shouldn't have a problem doing this, but when the weather outside is hot and humid (as it often is in the area), you'll likely need to catch your breath every few minutes. Don't forget to take water with you for the walk and of course a hat and sunscreen. Here, at the first point you will have to pay an entrance fee of 30 baht to access the gardens designed there, among other things. This amount will also cover you for the second observation point, where there are some useful facilities available to travelers, including booths selling drinks and snacks.

From the first observation point, follow the signs, which lead you along the route to the second point. Here, too, it is a short walk of about 5 minutes, although one that includes climbing many stairs and more effort, compared to walking to the first point. In the end, you will find that the effort is definitely worth it and you will be able to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view. There are two levels to view the view, with the second one being smaller than the first and therefore may be a bit crowded.

And now, on to the third vantage point. If you've reached the second viewpoint without feeling too tired and exhausted, don't stop and continue to the third and final viewpoint which is only a 10-minute walk along a dusty path. Most travelers descend back to sea level after visiting the second observation point, which means that if you decide to continue to the third observation point, you may very well find fewer visitors compared to the first and second. You can take your time, enjoy the silence and above all the unusual beauty and even stop for a short coffee, if you wish. A visit to the third observation point involves a fee of 20 baht.

pay attention: Coffeey It is a relatively small island, and although the route connecting the viewpoints is marked, it may confuse some people. It is very important that you follow only the marked paths and do not deviate from them. Don't be tempted to take a shortcut on the roads, as these may be less safe and certainly won't take you to the province of your belongings, as you would like. No matter what time of day you plan to do the route, be sure to stock up on drinks and comfortable shoes. Take a camera with you (important, important) and don't rush. This is the time to enjoy the road, breathe air and absorb the unique atmosphere of the island, as well as its amazing landscapes.
