As of October 2022, there are no more corona restrictions in Thailand, and those entering and leaving it can do so freely and without any special requirements. In fact, tourism to Thailand is returning to the state it was in before the outbreak of the epidemic.

Thailand returns - Phuket first
Happily, about a year after the skies were closed to tourists, winds of hope are blowing and it appears that little by little we will be able to return to our favorite routine abroad And in this context, the best news of all was received very recently - Phuket, the largest of Thailand's islands and one of the most popular among tourists, will open its doors (selectively) and become a so-called "pilot" for the entry of tourists into the Thai kingdom.
This means that starting in April 2021, tourists who have a certificate that they are vaccinated and that they have received all the vaccination doses, will be allowed to enter Phuket, this at the same time as giving priority to the vaccination of the population living on the island, especially those working in the tourism industry, which is an integral part of the local economy. The ambition is that the vaccination operation of the island's residents will last about three months.
Sounds good? Apparently yes. But what does that actually mean?
Tourists arriving in Phuket during this period will be required to present documents confirming that they are vaccinated. After these documents are approved, the visitors will be forced to stay in isolation for a week in one of about 25 predetermined hotels and guesthouses and at the end of this period, after receiving negative results of a recent corona test, they will be allowed to travel freely around the island.
Starting in July, when the population of the island will be vaccinated, at the end of the isolation period, visitors will be allowed to travel freely anywhere in Thailand and will not be limited to Phuket only.
What else do you need to know? In addition to a vaccination certificate, upon entering the country you will be required to present a negative corona test from the last 72 hours, a copy of medical insurance in English/Taiwan that covers hospitalization in case you fall ill with corona, and you will also be required to download an app that tracks your route in Thailand.
