A bit about Parchuap Kiri Kan district

The district which is now considered one of the most beautiful and special places in Thailand was built on the ruins of three towns that originally lived there after they were abandoned during the 18th century AD and restored about a hundred years later.

In the following centuries, many of the royal family of Thailand visited the place and this is thanks to the attractive location of the district which offers, among other things, a stretch of coast of spectacular beauty with long white sands, clear turquoise waters and an abundance of marine animals and plants. Thanks to the royal family who actually put the district on the map, it has become a desirable tourist destination full of attractions. Among other things - snorkeling, sunbathing and swimming.

With the district becoming a favorite among vacationers - locals and tourists alike, various resorts, hotels and guesthouses began to be built there, which greatly contributed to the economy of the area. These, in addition to the local agricultural industry, which is mainly based on the coconut industry, constitute the central economic focus of the district to this day.

The most common activities are naturally those that are concentrated along the coastline of the province which is known for its amazing scenery and rich marine life. These make the destination one that is especially loved by families with children, groups of young people and those who are among the belly-back vacation enthusiasts - those who enjoy bathing in the sea, snorkeling, diving, swimming and other enjoyable marine activities.

In addition to these activities, you can find many attractions for the enjoyment of young and old, such as golf courses, shopping centers and more. A few more words about Khao Sam Roi Yod National Park - the name of this park is loosely translated as "the mountain with 300 peaks", which describes the special place surrounded by high mountains flanked by jagged stone cliffs breaking out from the pastoral beaches. This is a must-visit place especially if you are traveling with small children and it has many corners to see and explore - pools, swamps, caves and an abundance of animals.
