Bayok 2 is a luxury hotel in Bangkok located in a building that holds the title of the second tallest building in the city. It rises to a height of 304 meters (328, if measured up to the height of the antenna) and for a short time also held the title of the tallest building in the city. In such a situation, it is natural that the place will also be the best location for observation. The mirrors there will give you a different and unfamiliar angle of Bangkok.
In the Buick 2 building, you are offered two types of experiences - the usual but impressive observation on the 77th floor and also a 360 degree observation, which is a few floors above and provides a breathtaking experience. This observation deck is open to visitors only in the evening and the spectacle you will see there includes the twinkling lights of the city's buildings and a magnificent skyline.
Don't be afraid of the "journey" to the observation deck on the 77th floor. The modern and fast elevators that are repaired in the hotel will take you from the ground floor to the top floor in less than a minute and a half. This elevator is transparent, so you can also enjoy the view on the way. It is currently considered the highest transparent elevator in all of Thailand.
Several telescopes are available for a fee. If you wish, you can take the opportunity to enjoy a meal or a drink at the restaurant located on the 77th floor. There is also an excellent view there, different from the one you will see at the observation deck. There are several other bars and restaurants on the higher floors of the hotel.
On the 84th floor, a full view of the city awaits you, 360 degrees without interruptions and without barriers. The observation floor slowly rotates around the building and thus you are exposed to all the angles of Bangkok and the buildings that light up the skyline.
You can combine the observation with a visit to the Pratunam market which is right next to the tower. The crowded market offers a wide variety of clothing items.
The price of entry to the observation deck is 180 baht for an adult and 120 baht for a child. You can order tickets in advance by contacting her by email or purchase them on the lobby floor of the hotel. The place is open to visitors every day of the week, from 10 am to midnight. The revolving observation deck on the 84th floor closes at 10pm.
