The Flight of the Gibbon (or the Flight of the Gibbon) is a light and fun challenging attraction that is especially suitable for those who love nature, animals, green landscapes - but are not really afraid of heights. On the site, which is in the heart of the Khao Kio Safari Park between Bangkok and Pattaya, an Omega has been established on which you can surf while enjoying the wild sights and the bouncy gibbon monkeys that live around them. The route includes passing between several omegas, crossing suspension bridges and observing animals.
The highlight of the experience is undoubtedly the glimpse of the gibbon monkeys, which are among the most charming and intelligent creatures in nature. Unfortunately, they have become a target for poachers and thieves and are therefore currently in danger of extinction. In the safari park they found a safe home and they exist in a natural environment while being protected and receiving answers to all their needs. This is a great way to get to know and see these monkeys when they are free and not in captivity or in a zoo.
The route of the gibbon flight is indeed challenging, but it is safe and meets the highest standards. It has been designed by engineers and professionals, and is backed by a reputable company from New Zealand. Many tourists have been surfing this Omega for years, with pleasure and safety. When you float among the green thickets and above the wild landscapes, you will be equipped with a helmet, harness and advanced safety equipment. Before you get on the Omega, you will receive safety training and also during the route you will be accompanied by two professional guides who will provide guidance and answers to any questions.
Besides the experience of floating on the Omega, during the visit you can also enjoy a traditional Thai lunch and a tour of the safari park, which is home to gibbon monkeys and other animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinos and more.
The distance to the site is 75 minutes drive from Bangkok or 60 minutes, if you are coming from Pattaya. The site operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The price per person is 4200 baht.
The activity is suitable for children from 5 years old to adults 70 years old. The minimum height for participants is one meter and the maximum weight is 120 kg. Participation is prohibited for pregnant women. The whole experience lasts 7 hours, from the moment of collection until the dispersion back in Bangkok/Pattaya.
