The World of Dreams Park, located near the Thai capital, is a classic amusement park in European style - a bit like Disneyland. In accordance with the name, it is a dreamlike experience that develops imagination. The complex is full of characters from fairy tales, palaces, magical games, shows and fun amusement park facilities for the whole family.
The park is divided into 4 areas, in which there are over 40 facilities, each area has its own theme. At the entrance to each activity or facility you will be asked to punch your entrance card (which includes a limited number of activities). Please note that some of the facilities have height and age restrictions.
The first thing you will notice when you enter the place is the huge palace. A closed building that offers shops selling souvenirs and a fast buffet where you can equip yourself and prepare for the wonderful journey. The culinary offer in the park is relatively diverse: from Western fast food like KFC to Pad Thai and papaya salad. You can purchase an entrance ticket that also includes a meal in the complex.
From there you can continue to the "Garden of Dreams" which contains classic activities such as colliding cars and a roller coaster. If you are traveling with little ones, you will be happy to find that there are facilities adapted to smaller children, such as a slow roller coaster in the shape of Mickey Mouse. In the same garden of dreams you can also go on a journey between 7 wonders of the world and wander in a miniature park with the world famous tourist sites - the Eiffel Tower, the Grand Canyon and more.
For the romantic among us, Park offers the "Garden of Love", bathed in Cupid statues, fountains and flowers. The next complex is the "Land of Fantasy", where you can enjoy magical facilities such as Sleeping Beauty's castle and get on a cable car that will give you a view from above of the entire park.
The most diverse and lively complex in the park is the "Land of Adventures". Among other things, you can take a trip to space there, climb mountains and get carried away in water activities and extreme facilities that will jump your adrenaline in your body. In the snowy city in the same area, you can forget for a moment about the humid weather outside, take pictures next to penguins and mammoths, enter an igloo and build a snowman. All this at a temperature of minus 8 degrees!
If you are not tired from the hours you spent in the magical facilities of the park, you can also enjoy the shows held there. Every day at 12:00 and 14:00 there is a juggling show of cute animals. Immediately afterwards there is a Hollywood show that will take you to a live scene of a thrilling action movie. On weekends, just before four in the afternoon, there is a theatrical show where you can meet and shake hands with the well-known animated characters.
How to get there - The park is about 40 km from the center of Bangkok, at: 62 Moo 1, Rungsit-Ongkarak Road, Bueng Yitho, Thanyaburi 12130.
You can reach the park by public transport. On the BTS from Siam Paragon Station, take the Sukhumvit Line to Victory Monument Station. From there bus 538 will take you to the entrance of the park.
Taxi ride from Bangkok It is probably the most convenient way, but it will cost you 500-400 baht, depending on where you are leaving in the city.
Opening times - Every day, 17:00-10:00 | On holidays the place is open until 19:00.
The activity on the spot takes a long time. That's why you should arrive early as well as be equipped against the sun and with comfortable shoes.
ticket prices – There are several options for tickets, according to entrance to the various complexes, meals and activities. Prices range from 1,000 to 1,200 baht depending on the type of ticket.
