Tiger Kingdom Zoo

Tiger Kingdom Phuket

Tiger Kingdom Zoo in Phuket It is a very well-known tourist attraction, which was opened for the first time in Chiang Mai in the north in 2008, in March. Due to the great popularity of the place, a second branch was opened, on Phuket Island, in July 2013, and later, in the very same place, a learning and research center about the tigers was also founded. The main activity of this center is the conservation of this wonderful animal, through education, veterinary research and the breeding of the tiger within this framework.

It's hard not to be impressed by the big cats, the spectacular tigers, known as one of the most amazing and impressive animal species in nature. Although many of us raise cats at home, these are quite different from those exotic, wild and much larger tigers. In nature, it is almost impossible to see them, and even more so, to meet them up close. This meeting is very rare and dangerous and often impossible due to their remote and isolated living areas. The tigers are known as powerful animals, with sharp teeth and claws, which are able to catch the prey quickly and kill it. At the same time, when they are in captivity, the story is completely different and you can interact with them and meet them up close without fear (under supervision, of course).

Tiger Kingdom Zoo in Phuket is proud of the comfortable and caring living environment it has created for the tigers, with all of the place's income being dedicated to the care of the animals born there and their preservation. The visitors are exposed to the tigers, which are raised in the zoo under captive conditions and at the same time to the plight of the wild tigers, which live for them around the world, including in Thailand itself. They can caress, hug and even take pictures with them and be close to her, as they can never be, and even more so when the tigers are released and grow in the wild. The purpose of the place is to provide a special experience, a once-in-a-lifetime experience thanks to the close encounter with the tigers, as well as to help preserve the tigers and the entire environment.

At the zoo, visitors can see, face to face, tigers of different ages and enjoy a close encounter lasting about ten minutes. There are several different types of tickets that can be purchased - packages, which offer different experiences and different encounters with the tigers. These sessions are not suitable for people who need walking aids or those in wheelchairs, as they require the ability to kneel and stand up quickly without assistance.

The zoo is open every day, including holidays, from 09:00 to 17:00. Last entry is at 16:30pm.
