Koh Puda Island is a recommended destination for those looking for calm and peace in nature, without too many activities and background noise. And even if it seems to you that all this peace and quiet is too much for you, well... it is still recommended not to give up visiting the island and to come to it even for a short foray of an hour or two.

So no hotels and shops, what can you find on the island? If you have enough time to enjoy this magical place, among the things you should do during your visit to Koh Puda:

• A visit to the untouristed side of the island, where there are no facilities and there are very few people. • Another activity not to be missed is kayaking along the coast, which allows you to get to know the island from a different and special angle and even reach the more distant resorts and beaches.
• Along the coast you will notice several jagged cliffs on which brave people climb - this is Dover in the sport of "rock climbing" which has become one of the hottest things in Thailand in recent years and as such there are quite a few schools that offer challenging climbing routes accompanied by experienced guides. If you feel like challenging yourself and even ending the tough climb with a jump into the cold water - this is one of the most beautiful places to do so.
• "The Green Pillar" - the nickname given by the locals to the rock that rises out of the water and is a kind of local attraction. Due to its unique appearance, tourists like to take pictures against it, especially at sunset.
• Many tourists who come to Ko Fuda bring with them food, drink and a mat and enjoy a picnic in the great outdoors in front of the beautiful views seen from the beach strip or the nearby grass. If the weather is pleasant and not too hot or humid, it is highly recommended to use at least part of the time on the island for such a pleasant lunch.

In addition to all these, nature lovers will also enjoy the animals that roam the place, especially local monkeys who have made the island their home and as the owners of the house, they roam in droves among the tourists, stealing things and behaving in what we interpret as insolence (well, they are just monkeys and behaving "insolently") - this is the time To emphasize that this is an animal that looks cute but has a rather painful bite that, in addition to the pain and trauma, may bring with it a host of diseases. Even if you see other tourists petting, feeding or taking pictures with the monkeys - be smarter and avoid such activities.

As mentioned, the arrival to the island is by boat and the cruise takes about half an hour at most:

Longtail from Ao Nang Beach - Departure at 08:00-16:00 and return at noon. Cost 300 baht.

The four islands trip

One of the most popular trips for those visiting the area, which departs from Ao Nang beach and passes through several beautiful places, including Kopa Island. Keep in mind that the visit to the island during the trip is only for about an hour and a half.

Favorite time to visit

The best time to visit the island is from November to April, however it is important to take into account that the climate in this part of Thailand is hot and humid during the months of March and April, so the temperatures can reach almost 40 degrees Celsius which together with the humidity make the stay unbearable.
