What to do

Bophut Beach is a site full of attractions, the stretch of beach is beautiful and clean and there is a large space where you can relax in front of the blazing sun and watch spectacular sunsets. Due to the fact that the area is the central anchorage of the island, the water has become less clear over the years and this makes the water in the area less attractive for diving and swimming. However, various activities such as diving, kayaking and jet skiing are offered at the beach. If you are interested in one of these attractions (and there is no reason not to) - don't forget to do it before the trip Appropriate travel insurance.

Although it is an ancient historical gem, the fishing village is family-friendly and offers equally worthwhile attractions. You can walk around among the special architectural buildings, explore the jungle that lies in its heart, play golf on the course inside or indulge in a professional Thai massage at one of the on-site spas.

One of the most popular attractions in the village is of course shopping. In the village there are many shops offering goods of all kinds, in fact it is the largest shopping site on the island. The prices are considered reasonable, but as with any shopping site in the East, it is recommended to bargain for the prices, which can drop by hundreds of percent if you insist. The shopping street is closed to vehicles, so you can walk around it comfortably on foot and buy souvenirs, clothes, diving equipment, taste Thai street food or sit in one of the cafes and restaurants. Also, on Fridays there is a night market and live music performances are held in the street. At night the main street is decorated with lights, which gives it a particularly fun and festive atmosphere.

If you are less interested in walking in the crowd, in the village there is a small market at night called "Elephant walk Koh Samui". This is an authentic Thai market, where a limited number of local merchants offer their wares.

what to eat

The food is reason enough in itself to come and visit the area. Everyone will be able to find something to eat, from traditional Thai food to luxurious luxury restaurants.
